What is Meltabs®? 

Meltabs, Generic Viagra is Pfizer’s brand of Sildenafil Citrate, the most effective treatment for impotence or Erectile Dysfunction (ED). Meltabs are made by "grinding up" genuine Pfizer Viagra tablets and compounding this with a gel-like substance that dissolves when placed under the tongue.

When Sildenafil Citrate is in a pill form (such as Viagra), it must go through the digestive tract to finally be absorbed into the blood stream. This takes approximately 60 to 90 minutes. Sildenafil Citrate compounded in the soft tab form is absorbed directly into the blood stream through the cell walls under the tongue, thereby eliminating the necessity to go through the digestive tract. Effects are usually seen within 20 minutes. This is done by a patent pending compounding process developed especially for Meltabs.

Take Meltabs only before sexual activity. The manufacturer recommends a maximum of 1 dose per day (1 dose every 2 days for those taking ritonavir).
